increasingly global economy that depends on the telephone for communicating.
Shelly Carlson, a communications specialist, coaches executives and leaders
to develop and refine his/her communication skills. Ms. Carlson’s
emphasis is the development of vocal and verbal skills and effective and
evocative writing techniques.
Shelly uses the tools she learned and used as a professional actor to
develop concise, effective writing skills, a strong, interesting voice
and a standard, incisive command of language for the international arena.
Shelly works with the whole person: body language, gestures, alignment,
pitch, tempo and accent of the voice and appropriate emotional responses.
Shelly is a professional voice artist, actor, and writer. She has voiced
hundreds of radio and television commercials and frequently delivers keynote
speeches on topics such as Executive Presentations, Foreign Relations,
and Accent Reduction. Corporate clients with whom Shelly has worked include
AT&T, Amoco, USG Corporation, General Motors, Sears, Ameritech and
Walgreen’s. She works with clients throughout the United States
as well as around the globe.
Shelly trained at The Juilliard School and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts
from Illinois Wesleyan University. Ms. Carlson is an active member of
Actor’s Equity Association, the Screen Actors Guild and the American
Federation of Radio and TV Artists. |
